What Volt Ukraine is working on?

While fighting for its freedom, Ukraine has faced significant economic drawbacks. The future vision of the partnership between Ukraine and the EU needs to be built on mutual assistance, specifically during times of economic challenges. One of the upcoming questions within the European economy and trade space is the admittance of new partners, which enjoy both the full benefit and responsibility that participation in the Single Market provides.

Volt Ukraine strives to support a strong and unified EU, the crucial element of which nowadays is a strong and developed defense strategy. The full-scale invasion of 2022 has once again proven the importance and effectiveness of unified allied forces. To ensure and maintain the proper functioning of the alliance every voice needs to be taken into account.

Our strength is in unity. Volt Ukraine is committed to empowering communities and building a society that is based on principles of equity mutual respect and equal opportunities. Facing the social consequences of a destructive war among many, we have to account for the rising need for special accommodations many of our compatriots will require.

There is no place for autocracy and dictatorship in the 21st century. Volt Ukraine is committed to defending and promoting the values of democracy and freedom of choice, which remains one of the top priorities on the EU agenda. As a newly-emerged political movement, Volt Ukraine will fight for the strengthening of trust in the Pan-European project through an informed citizenry and a robust and transparent European media landscape.

Ukraine has been committed when it comes to its journey towards a full European Union membership. Volt Ukraine is committed to promote values of justice and governmental transparency. Reaching a status of EU member with all its rights and responsibilities, as well as striving towards full Copenhagen Criteria compliance remain one of the most important tasks on our agenda.

The ongoing political situation raises many healthcare questions and concerns for Ukrainian citizens and specifically those, who have been affected by it directly. Volt Ukraine stands with the people and will work to ensure the right to proper medical care. Additionally, we will work to prioritize healthcare accessibility in regions of Ukraine, strongly affected by destruction.
